This Privacy Policy explains how Reminders#9984 (“Reminders,” “the App”, “the Service,” “we,” or “us”) and https://reminders.click (“the Website”) collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our Service on Discord or visit our Website.
1. Data We Collect
A. Required Discord data:
- User IDs (to identify who sets reminders and whom reminders are assigned to),
- Guild (server) IDs and channel IDs (to deliver reminders and read permissions),
- Server-, category-, and channel-wide permission details (to ensure the user and App have necessary access),
- Server member names and IDs (for reminders targeting specific users or roles).
B. Reminder content:
- Reminder details you provide, such as times, notes, and attached media,
- Metadata necessary for your reminder to be scheduled and delivered.
C. Usage data:
- We may collect limited, non-identifying data about how the App is used to improve the Service,
- We may collect limited data such as command frequency and error logs.
2. How Data is Used
- Delivering scheduled reminders to the correct Discord user and server channel or DM,
- Managing permissions and access based on server roles/channels,
- Improving Service reliability, troubleshooting errors, and maintaining security.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
- All reminder content, notes, and attached media are deleted immediately after the reminder is delivered,
- Only minimal metadata (such as IDs and timestamps) are stored temporarily for operational purposes,
- No user data is kept longer than necessary; once it is no longer required for scheduled reminders or App operations, it is securely deleted.
4. No Access to Message Content
Reminders does not read, collect, or store message content in Discord channels, DMs, or group chats. The App can only read and send content submitted through its slash commands as part of its normal functions.
5. Data Security
- All data is stored with industry-standard security measures and is accessible only by automated system functions,
- No information is sold to, shared with, or accessed by third parties.
6. Your Rights
- You may request removal of your data by deleting previously scheduled reminders or removing the App from a server or uninstalling it from your User Profile,
- For specific privacy requests, contact us using the information below.
7. Updates
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Your continued use of the App or Website after such changes constitutes acceptance. You can opt out of the Privacy Policy by stopping use of the Service.
